Candidates wishing to sit for an examination for obtaining a title of a broker, investment adviser or a portfolio manager now have the option to do so without the requirement of class attendance.
The amendments to the Rulebook on Licensing Brokers, Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers has introduced the option allowing students to sit for an examination without attending the courses. Namely, the candidates who have not attended the classes have the right to apply and sit for the examination for a broker, investment adviser or a portfolio manager, if the courses have not been organized in the current and in the previous year.
